Why Authorised is Best

Why buy from an established and accredited dealer?

As in independent supplier of commercial laundry and dishwashing equipment for more than 24 years, Allsop & Francis Ltd have earned an excellent reputation for our professional advice when specifying equipment and our expert support throughout its lifetime.

As one of only a few Miele Professional Partners in the UK, not only are we authorised to install and commission their equipment (essential to validate the warranty) but also to carry out warranty repairs and servicing on their behalf.

The relationship between Miele and their official partners goes a lot further than just the supply and maintenance of their machines. Partners also enjoy:

  • Technical training by Miele’s own training team
  • Priority delivery
  • Fast access to their official spare parts
  • Diagnostic software and equipment with regular updates
  • Superior terms to pass on to their customers
  • Full support and backing of their dedicated personnel

Anyone who is going to the expense of purchasing commercial laundry and dishwashing equipment need the very best advice and back up supplied by an officially accredited dealer to avoid the all too common problems associated with buying from elsewhere.

Problems we have encountered:

  • Capacity – one of the main issues we come across is that of under or over specification of equipment. If your machines are too small then you will be working them too hard and paying your staff for more hours, if they are too large they are very often under loaded which not only is very costly on utilities but shortens the life of the machine.
  • Power rating – commercial equipment is designed to run on higher rated power supply to increase speed and therefore reduce wash and drying times. Incorrectly rated equipment will not make the most of available resources.
  • Delayed delivery – because unofficial dealers are unable to buy machines directly from the manufacturer, there is always a delay in the speed of delivery and communication issues mean incorrect machines can be delivered.
  • Commissioning – commercial laundry and dishwashing equipment must be commissioned by an accredited dealer to validate the warranty. Non-accredited suppliers cannot do this.
  • Here today gone tomorrow – Many new or smaller suppliers do not stay the course, as your warranty and statutory rights are with your supplier rather than the manufacturer, finding your dealer is no longer in business can prove very costly.

For expert professional advice and the reassurance that you will receive reliable support on your investment ‘Official is Best’

Sadly, there are dealers who falsely claim to be accredited when they are not, please be aware and if in doubt a quick phone call to Miele Professional will verify their status. Please click on the attached for a recent example of this.
